DOVIA Memphis

We are happy to announce that we will be offering 1 scholarship to our current/paid members of DOVIA. This scholarship will be awarded to a member interested in taking the CVA/CAVS exams to obtain their certification. Please review the details of the scholarship process below and GOOD LUCK!

FALL Application Submission Time Frame (July 15, 2023 - August 15, 2023)

DOVIA Memphis will provide one scholarship for $350 for a member to register for the CVA/CAVS exam. The scholarship would cover one exam and must be taken within a twelve-month timeframe. Once awarded, the scholarship recipient is responsible for all supplemental study materials and testing logistics/requirements.

The scholarship recipient will be expected to contribute to DOVIA Memphis. Once awarded, the scholarship recipient agrees to:

• Present as the featured speaker at one of the bi-monthly DOVIA Memphis meetings.
• Chair next year’s scholarship selection committee.
• Facilitate next year’s CAVS/CVA study group.

To apply, you must be an ACTIVE and PAID member of DOVIA Memphis. The deadline for receipt of scholarship applications is Tuesday, August 15, 2023.  If you are the scholarship recipient, you will be notified no later than August 22, 2023. As a reminder, scholarship recipients are not eligible to reapply for a period of four years.
